Johnny Ciccone Shares His Philosophy on Beauty
I have spent most of my life studying the techniques of hairdressing: cutting, coloring, and highlighting. I take great pride in my craft. With that said, I believe technical skill is only a fraction of what truly matters in the relationship between a hairdresser and a client.
If I had to identify my greatest strength, it would be my ability to recognize the true beauty within every person who sits in my chair. I want to help you recognize that beauty in yourself. I want to know you—I mean that in the most literal sense. I believe I serve the whole person. God made you beautiful, and I want to help you realize that.
True beauty isn’t something I create. It already exists. It lives inside you, and it radiates outward.
That’s where I begin. I begin with the truth. I begin with the person. I begin with the beauty that is already within you, and I simply do my best to nurture it. That beauty is not dependent on trends, age, or fashion. True beauty is enduring. True beauty is authentic. True beauty is everlasting.
